Tastes great on salads, and cooks well. Saffi's price is competitive with other good quality oils. The bulk packaging keeps the oil fresh, and eliminates glass or metal containers. I'm a happy Saffi-ite!
I just received my third order of olive oil from Saffi. I like the way it comes packaged in a cardboard box with a flexible plastic bag inside! It’s easy to dispense and keeps fresh very nicely in its container. As far as the taste and quality goes, it’s first rate and I can highly recommend it.
This oil has such a great flavor and I love having the bulk. I cook primarily with Olive Oil so having the bulk is much more economical for me and I know that through Saffi , I am getting a quality product!
A few years ago I read a shocking/depressing book about the olive oil industry. I began buying olive oil at an expensive boutique with verified supply chains to get the highest quality oils, and have learned in the process what good oils, high in phenols and oleic acids, taste like. I was very impressed by this oil; it exceeded my expectations. It tastes fresh and peppery, at 1/3 the cost. I'll still visit the boutique for variety, but this will now be my base oil.
I bought the big box of bulk olive oil. I’ve been told it will last for two years. I’m glad to have a quality product on hand, especially with rising food prices.
